The BEST book I've read this year is David Henry Sterry's Master of Ceremonies. Sterry was the Master of Ceremonies of Chippendale's (the male strip club) in the mid '80s. This is really a tribute to NYC in the cash-happy '80s and a story of what happens when there's too much ex...cess (sound familiar?!). It's beautifully written and a complete page-turner.
