"Forever Salon", a Litquake Panel: Paul Saffo, Sonia Arrison, and more

Oct.04.2012

Join Litquake and the SF Writer's Grotto for a freewheeling panel discussion about life, death, and the science of life extension.

Do you want to live 80 years, 100 years, 150 years, or forever? Humans may soon be able to radically extend lifespan through genetics, stem cells, and bionics. What happens then? Would you take a pill that slows aging and allows you to live to age 150 or beyond? Drawing on art, lit, and tech, David Ewing Duncan (author of When I’m 164) leads a discussion about what whether humans should cheat death, even it becomes possible.

Panel: Paul Saffo, Sonia Arrison, David Ewing Duncan
