In one respect most of my time is free time since I don’t get paid for it. However, that same time is used in writing or promoting my books. I do get away once in a while to do other fun things.
I spent last week end in Athens, Ohio. I went over to Hocking Hills and went through a couple caves. I hadn’t been there in over twenty years and was surprised how popular they now are. The caves now have parking lots that are filled with cars and hundreds of people wondering around exploring. Years ago when I was there you just pulled off the side of the road with the other four or five cars and walked down to the cave and back to you car. Now there are paths and trails to hike that take you from one cave to another. Before the only spot that had a lot of people was Cedar Falls.
Now that I’m back home I have lots of work to do. I’m getting a cover ready for my next book and changing the cover on my first two books. I wasn’t happy with them before so now that I have learned a little more I want them done right.
I’m also having some more books printed so I can go to some powwows coming up. There is one at Hocking Hills here very soon and I hope to be ready to go to that one and sign my book, Scalp. I will let everyone know my agenda as soon as I get everything set up.
