My career as a broadcaster, entrepreneur, and writer has taken me from the jungles of Australia’s Cape York Peninsula to the minarets of Riyadh. I've climbed the spire of the Empire State Building, floated the Usumacinta River to the Mayan ruins at Piedras Negras in Guatemala, and photographed the tree-climbing lions and mountain gorillas of Uganda. I'm a freelance writer and photographer who works regularly for some 35 magazines and newspapers. My byline has appeared everywhere from Disney’s FamilyFun to Las Vegas Magazine. Closer to home, I write features for Westchester Magazine and belong to the Metropolitan Golf Writers Association. My first novel, Hunting Elf, began as an audio book at www.huntingelf.com and was published as a trade paperback in 2006. K9 Perspective called it “…a delicious romp through the suburbs of New York.” Currently, I am writing and publishing The Dynamic Manager Guides, a series of how-to books for small business managers based on thousands of interviews with company owners and others as well as my own experiences as a consultant and entrepreneur. As a business journalist, I write for The Christian Science Monitor, Family Business Magazine, and dozens of trade publications serving industries from the automotive aftermarket to sporting goods retailing. It's also my great pleasure to serve as a Trustee for the Westchester Library System, a consortium of 38 public libraries serving Westchester County, NY, as well as a Trustee for the Westchester County Historical Society. I am also affiliated with the Purchase College Writers' Center.
