Am I the last book-a-holic on earth to have found Library Thing (www.librarything.com)? What a nfity idea! You go there and enter the books in your personal library, along with tags if you like. They can be displayed as lists or they'll display the covers. A quick click puts them online thanks to a link with Amazon and others. I feel like a kid with a new toy!
There's also an Early Reviewer program where you sign up for a chance to be one of the first to review a newly-released book. About 100 are sent by the publisher while hundreds vie to receive one to review on LibraryThing and elsewhere if they so choose.
You can also become a LibraryThing Author. I don't really know what that means but I have a cute little yellow button on my page that says that I'm one! LOL
The latest feature, just launched, is a chat with authors. They've asked me to be the Guest Author from May 19th - June 2nd. I hope some of you will surf over and join me there. Questions are left and the author answers them online. Since it's not a list, question and answers are posted when it's convenient for the individuals.
What a great site! I just wish I'd thought of it. Well, that and the Pet Rock, The Mood Ring, The Click Stick.....
