So today starts my journey to regain what I lost, or rather tossed to the wayside for foolish reasons. My new column is live on Michael Davis World and can be seen here:

In it we talk about the cancelation of the DC Comic...

My baby brother, committed suicide on December 4th, 2011. - He was 25.
I wanted to get that out in the first line because the more I start writing about the triails of the past few months I don't know if I will be able to get that part out. I won't go into deep detail about the whys and...

Yesterday I was on our local TV magazine show THE HAMPTON ROADS SHOW with Olde Towne Business Association Jay Stetcher and despite having less time than I anticipated I think it went pretty well.
Check it out:

In honor of the upcoming Ghost Walk in Olde Towne Portsmouth, next week I thought I would share one of the stories from the walk.
Now, just because it happens to be about me is just one big coincidence really. ;) But this is a true ghost story, one of many on our ghost walk. Local folk should stop...

Now when I started trying to do this as a regular blog again... with the lofty goal of being *gasp* weekly, I didn't really forsee the hassles of recent weeks coming to a pass. Of the myriad of issues that have come about, one such reason is the formation of a new company.

I failed my 'once a week blog' concept. Something I think I may do every now and then. As a wise man once said "Life happens when you are busy making other plans." Since my last blog, I had been fired from my 'day job', embroiled in a lawsuit fighting the termination, redoing my entire bedroom, and...

Now for whatever damage the storm did, it really wasn't as bad as the doomsayers on TV made it out to be. Here on the coast of Virginia, I listened as newscasters declared states of emergency, and 'storm of the century' and 'worst storm ever' being bandied about.
There were talks of panicked runs...

Well, the convetion came and went. I only got to spend about a day and a half at the show but it was a lovely shot in the arm that I needed. I traveled up there with my lovely girlfriend, and our dear friends and their family.
My girlfriend is also a writer, looking to break into comics, and I...

Well it's been over a year since my last blog post, and I am really ashamed.
I wonder how many people still view my page, and I amgoing to try to revitalize interest. After all, what kind of 'shameless self promoter' would I be if I didn't?
I am now a year older, tho none the wiser. I...

So, last Monday (the 19th) I turned 30 years old.
From what I gather this is one of those "milestone" birthdays. 16 you get your driver's license, 18 you're an "adult", 21 you can drink, and 30 you are officially 'old'. Not really part of the "MTV Generation" anymore...

"When is a writer, not a writer?"
When he's not writing.
Okay. Edward Nigma I'm not, but I have been away from my field and my blog for far too long. As I said in my last blog, I would rectify my long disapearance from my Red Room Blog. Around November of last year, my little area...
