I was born in Mooresville, North Carolina and grew up in Hickory Grove, N. C., a community near Charlotte.

I attended school at CCCP in Charlotte, N.C., Gardner-Webb University, Boiling Springs, N. C., Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, Tulsa OK. My education involves a list of hobbies almost too numerous to mention. They include Sailing, bee keeping, hunting and fishing, motorcycles, travel, gunsmith, sculpturing and the list goes on. I think these hobbies and my travels have all been in preparation for my writing.I serviced in the U.S. Army in Viet Nam.I have lived in Charlotte, N.C., Riverdale and Newnan, Georgia, Marshall Islands, Budapest, Hungry, Houston, Texas and presently reside in Thailand and Houston, Texas with my wife.I must say that of all the many things I have been involved in, providing for my wife and family and watching our three children grow to manhood and womanhood is my greatest accomplishment.I have previously published a young adult fiction, Tyler Hill’s Decision and my latest adventure book, In Search of a Soul.

Influences

My biggest influences are my daybreams. I remember even as a small child sitting and concocting stories. Today they still live and I finally found that if I tries they would jump out of my fingers. I am not a good speaker and my emotions, anger, love, joy, pain, etc. come forth in my writing. It's is something I can't stop nor do I wish to stop it. Writing gives me an outlet that steadies my soul.

Growing up I was given a book, The Hobbit and I could believe how thick it was ands someone actually thought I would read something like that with so many words. Well, I did and have been reading ever since. I think much of my English grammar and vocabulary was learned in book of fiction. There is a college education in books we read.

Upcoming Works

My next book is called, Outer World- Prairie. It is a fantasy- adventure- romance-- Is it possible to combine all of that? Well, ofcourse it is. Has anyone seen Avatar? My book runs along the lines of that great movie but as a low tech version. I would also like to tell you that I started and finished my book before Avatar was released.

It is a long story-- as most fanstasy's are-- but it is one adventure after another. Two people meet out on the great expanse of the prairie. One is from Prairie and the other from another outer world. They fall in love and go on an adventure to help save their world and fight for their lives and their freedom.
They are pursued by an ancient enemy who wants to enslave or kill all the people of Prairie. They meet others and band together to fight and if necessary die for their world.
The enemy finds that their technology is useless on the outer worlds and they are forced to use weapons from their past. They are on Prairie, the most distant of the outer world, to find a mineral that will devastate their old foes and to enslave or exterminate the inferior people of these distant worlds.

I am presently getting this book ready along with having a book cover designed by a very talented artist-- Surabhi Singh. I also have writeen several other books just waiting to be edited, editied and edited. I have several manuscripts in work as well.
