Banff, Alberta, Canada is one of the most beautiful places on the planet - the massive mountains, the cool clean air and the inspiring ruggedness make it a perfect paradise as long as you go at the right time. We went near the end of October when the transient population was very low; it was so quiet township people actually had time to chat and even say hello....
