So, writing this thriller is more of a chore than I suspected (though, at the moment, being ill does not help). Striving for 1,000 words per day in addition to all the other things I do is more the chore than the book itself. In fact, the first chapter unfolds beautifully - there's even a dog, Louie.
But, it's obvious I can't write what doesn't interest me, and part of that interest is not always knowing what happens next, and that can be a killer to a thriller. But I still aim for a fast right and my chance on Oprah before she disappears. Mind you, I understand she'll come back as her own Network - but that's another book.
