Perhaps Kafka might have perceived some modest interest being held for his works in Wales, but Africa - not so much. I do like the interpretation given to "A Report to an Academy" in Africa. What ape wouldn't?

Namibia: Ape Visits Theatre
Windhoek — The play, Report To An Academy features tonight at the Bank Windhoek Theatre School at seven O'clock as part of the Bank Windhoek Arts Festival.
The play writtem by Franz Kafka is directed Aldo Behrens with David Ndjavera palying the APE charachter. The lab theatre production firstly became known in the 1980's when the celebrated Afrikaans actor Marius Weyers, played the APE under the directorship of Mario Schiess.
In Namibia Report To An Academy caught attention when Aldo Behrens played the APE between 1990 and 1994, under the directorship of Terence Zeeman. Now Aldo Behrens as director revisits KAFKA'S EPIC DRAMA with arguably one of Namibias best actors, DAVID NDJAVERA, who plays the APE.
