All hail Fifty Shades Of Grey, say I. The book, and its author, E L James, have done as much for the authors of the world as Harry Potter and another initialled author, J K Rowling.
Sold and still selling.
I have before said that everyone writing fiction should genuflect in the direction of J K and give thanks. I now say, change knees and do the same for E L.
I don't mind how reading is being kept alive in these visual and video times. I am joyful that people still read books. I see all those boats rising on the tides of Grey and Potter. I am in one of those boats.
