where the writers are
Update

I was recently interviewed by notable baseball author, Cecilia Tan about steroids in baseball. The interview is posted on her blog: http://www.whyilikebaseball.com/?p=123

Now here's a fun announcement that's making me shake my head in amazement. Alex Glass, a literary agent at New York-based Trident Media Group, the world's most prolific literary agency, recently read my proposal for Hitters, and offered me representation. This kind of stuff blows me a way because I remember when I just started tinkering with writing seven years ago. It was a humbling experience, a challenge.  Constant rejection. For five years, though, I lived and breathed everything writing, and now it's thrilling to see my hard work paying off. Plus, I can't forget mentors who took the time to guide me along the way such as authors Frank Sanello, Dr. Theodore Chenney and my professor at Hayward's Chabot College, William Johnson. Books such as On Writing Well  by William Zinsser transformed by life.

And remember; The secret to good writing is re-writing.
