Cynthia Neale's Biography
Member Info
I am the author of The Irish Dresser, A Story of Hope during The Great Hunger (An Gorta Mor, 1845-1850) and Hope in New York City, The Continuing Story of The Irish Dresser. Both books are YA with lessons plans. In addition to these two novels published in the last few years, my third historical fiction novel, Norah, The Making of an Irish-American Woman in 19th Century New York, is being released on March 1, 2011. It is adult historical fiction that continues the story of Norah McCabe. I am currently researching and writing a novel about a Native American woman who lived in New York State in the 1700s. The Finger Lakes in New York State is my home area and currently I reside in New Hampshire.
