I'm a full time freelance writer and author of fifteen nonfiction books for young people, mostly on social and environmental topics. My first YA novel, Only the Left Eye Cries, is now under contract with Crescent Moon Press, and I'm finishing up the sequel now. I'm represented by Bree Ogden of D4EO.

Interests & Hobbies
We have a hobby farm with two horses, three German shepherds, two cats, and a flock of friendly chickens. When I'm not writing, I love to ski, swim, and relax with my friends.
In Terror at the Munich Olympics, Farrell successfully handles the complex subject of the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict...the author's carefully factual approach manages to present each side's claims in a balanced way. This series continues to do an excellent job of putting historical events into a more expansive context.
