Constance Chapman's Biography

Constance Chapman is a graduate of the innovative Creative Inquiry program at California Institute of Integral Studies where she is completing a creative non-fiction book, Steppin' Up With Soul. She brings to this work a long history of writing and publishing both fiction and non-fiction works.

She has written journal articles for Canadian Women's Study Journal, has written a full length manual, Setting up and Starting A Shelter for Battered Women, and several papers have been accepted and presented at academic and professional conferences. In 2007, she won the prestigious Center for Divine Feminine Scholarship for her work on Spirit Led Leadership from the Institute for Transpersonal Psychology.

In the fiction genre, Constance has had three short stories published in the best selling, Hot and Bothered series edited by Karen X. Tulchinsky. Her latest work combines her non-fiction and fiction writing.
