What an amazing video
This video was incredible. I found that the style of the art actually raised the level of realism because it made me feel the confusing and disjointed nature of the story being told. Thank you for sharing this with us.

Sign of the Times
What a vivid, surreal way to communicate the realities of war. And kudos to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for including three war-time documentaries among its nominees for Best Documentary Feature this year. Many thanks for posting this clip.

Indeed!
In some ways, the animation makes certain aspects of the action "more realistic." For instance, for all the din of weapons in our movies, it takes a first rate director and special effects man to recreate the visuals of a machine gun firing and its effect upon a target. [And that kind of reality, in official military approved documentaries, is cut out or toned down.] The animation slows the action enough to truly register.
Good work.
