Still waiting for Lightning Source to conjure up a proof of my novel So Dark the Night. There have been...complications. It has been a couple of weeks of complications and it's all gotten very wearing. So, to take my mind off it, I've posted a new short story on my "Beautiful Desolation" blog. Only 500 words long but I've managed to crowd a lot of crazy notions into the compact narrative.
