I was born in Jamaica, West Indies. At the age of 7 I joined my parents in the UK where I attended junior and secondary school. On leaving school in 1973 I worked in various clerical and administrative positions until I found my niche in Personnel Management (known as Human Resources these days). I remained in the UK for 26 years before returning to live in Jamaica.
I am an avid reader and have always loved writing, but did not take my writing seriously until I returned to Jamaica in 1990 when I began entering my short fiction in a national writing competition. Over the years I achieved various awards, which encouraged me to try my hand at a full length book. This gave birth to my novel, Sweet Home, Jamaica which was published in 2 volumes by Pegasus Elliot Mackenzie in 2007 in the UK, and subsequently, the sequel The Missing Years, which came out in January 2009.
Reading, writing, listening to most genres of music, playing board games, watching game shows on TV, visiting scenic locations and historical sites.
