Christopher Laurent's Biography

I was fortunate to be raised in a multicultural and multilingual household: my father was born in Saigon, my mother was born in a small town in Arkansas and I was born in Paris. After studying Cultural Anthropology in graduate school, I moved to Japan to truly master the language and the culture. My path to becoming a writer was equally unconventional. I had jobs as zookeeper, a history teacher, and a sushi chef. I write as a way to sharing my life experiences.
