It’s not really Freya who needs help, it’s me.
I developed a serious autoimmune condition (aggressive Rheumatoid Arthritis with nerve disease) on my honeymoon in 2010 and have not been able to work in 9 months. It’s very painful for me to walk and I am increasingly homebound.
I want to buy a mobility scooter so I can get outside more. I’m doing a pretty decent job of keeping my spirits up, but there is nothing as good for the spirit as sighting a Great Blue Heron by the shore or just meandering down the block with my fluffy white dog Milo. And of course shopping at our bountiful farmers markets…The scooter will take me to all those places and more.
You can order your signed copies here, secure through Pay Pal, and I’ll be able to scootle over to the post office and drop your books in the mail myself.
I know you’ve already read The Tricking of Freya if you’re on this list… so you probably don’t need to buy another… but a signed copy makes a nice keepsake or gift. (You can also just donate for the scooter if you want to help but don’t need more books.)
Thank you again for your appreciation for The Tricking of Freya. For me, connecting with readers is the most wondrous aspect of being published.
And thanks in advance for helping me (if you’re able) to regain some mobility and freedom.
