October is my very favorite month of the year in San Francisco, and not least of all because of Litquake. The week-long literary festival is underway and there have already been quite a few highlights. From a delightful (and Free! thank you) opening night party at 111 Minna to visual art and words at Off the Richter Scale and last night's enviro-lit panel at Park Chalet, my brain is all tingly with joy. Up tonight: publishing panel! Tomorrow, Virtual Reality with the son of Kurt Vonnegut reading about what that was like, Wednesday in the Planetarium with bees and ants and all of this excitement crescendoes into LitCrawl, where I will be reading during Phase II at the Bikram Writing event at the ever-classic Beauty Bar.
Ahhh, it's almost too much fun. Almost!
Join if you can, you won't want to miss this delightful and inspiring week!!
