"Blogtalk Radio's Femslash4Fans has an exclusive interview with the Cat-Tales creator who many consider to be the definitive Catwoman writer as she finally shares her thoughts on the DC Comics reboot and the relaunched Catwoman comic, as well as discussing the merits of the purple costume, actresses who have played Selina Kyle in the movies, and of course the relationship between Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn (it is a femslash show) and other pairings.
That's how they put it. For me, it was just a chance to sit down and chat with an old friend who often remembers the twists and turns of my early stories better then I do - Thank God!
I'm still a backstage girl at heart. I love it when an individual thinks to email me and make one-on-one contact, but talking to an anonymous crowd, it's just not my thing - particularly with a moniker like that "Cat-Tales creator" over my head. But the interview itself was a real delight. Prepping for it was a little strange. Thinkng back to those early stories, remembering why I introduced a character and how they carved a niche for themselves, how they grew and evolved over the years, it's been a very long time since I talked about any of it. In some cases, I'm not sure I even thought about it consciously.
But anyway, the interview is done and it's right here...
Now I finally get to retreat back into my word.doc... at least I will soon. It's Halloween, and when you talk about Catwoman's costume as much as I do, Google is apt to dump the entire world into your blog.
