LOVE CEMETERY: Unburying the Secret History of Slaves Joined by over a hundered people as Mrs. Doris Vittatoe and Mrs. Nuthel Britton and their families cut the ribbon, unlocked the gate, and led us back into their 175 year old, rural East Texas burial ground. The lockout had lasted four years, almost to the day. Descendents of Della Lovetravelled cross country to help celebrate. Many attending had also helped us bring about the day, including Trustees of Wiley College.
