A California native, I live, write and teach tango in Buenos Aires. Before leaving the U.S. in 2001, I was a dance research librarian for the L.A. Public Library and a dance critic for local newspapers. Many of my articles have been published in magazines, professional journals, and several anthologies. My first book, The Church of Tango: a Memoir was published this year, my story of Death, Dance, Destiny.
