Our debut show had over 750 downloads on iTunes! 500 is respectable. We're extatic and we have a month of shows pre-recorded, but we're not letting up on the throttle. To present 60 minutes of spine-tingling edge-of-your-seat crime fiction every week, we need more stories!
We're looking for 3,000 - 10,000 words, although this is more a guideline than a rule. Crime is key. We can dally on the strict definition of fiction - we have several great stories of historical crime fact from Kentucky author Keven McQueen. We can also bend on length - we have short pieces from Copper Smith and an extra-long piece by David Vann.
We want your crime stories. We cannot pay authors, since our show is free and we all volunteer. We will increase your readership as our listeners join your fanbase.
Our first show featured "Keller the Dog Killer" by Lawrence Block, narrated by Ray Sizemore. For our second show we presented "Something Rather Fishy" by Marilyn Todd, narrated by Sam Moffat. We hope you will want to join our gang of outstanding writers and narrators as we break ground in crime fiction.
