Charlotte Parker's Biography
Member Info
I've had my nose in a book since my mother taught me to read at the age of three. As soon as I was able to sting words together I write stories for anyone who would read them. I've published a paranormal suspense novel, short stories and non-fiction articles.
I've been married for thirty years, have no children, unless you consider my very spoiled basset hound a child.
Influences
I've been reading since I was three. But when I was a teenager a favorite uncle handed me a book of ghost stories and I was hooked. Since that moment I've been interested in the dark side of life and things that go bump in the next room. So when I decided to pick up a pen and later the computer it was the dark side that I wrote about. Most of my favorite authors write the paranormal. But it was Kay Hooper's stories that made me want to finally write for publication. I can't compare myself to Ms. Hooper, but my goal is to be as great a writer as she.
Upcoming Works
I'm working on a story about a woman who was born with this ability to reanimate crime scenes--working title The Vision Master.
