Matthew 5, 14 You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Men do not light a lamp and put it under a bushel basket. They set it on a stand where it gives light to all the house. In the same way, your light must shine before men so that they may see goodness in your acts and give praise to your heavenly Father
The Missing Link and the Golden Key
It is truly a blessing to be inspired by leaders taking action across the world to help others by sharing their wisdom through their vision of God. They are our role models as they show us the things that have brought them to such heights. They have arrived and touched the stars and clearly see our true purpose here. We must know that we cannot shine with the Great Ones while ignoring the needs of others who are in front of us.
We can begin to move in the same direction that brought our Great Ones to their highest place by helping, supporting, aiding, and listening to our own children, spouses, neighbors, families, friends, or anyone else in need who presents themselves to us. They may seem unimportant or not to our liking, or they may interfere with our plans. But in reality, they are the missing link between us and greatness, because when we take the time to listen or help them, we will find ourselves moving quickly in the right direction.
These people who are our missing links exemplify what Jesus has told us from the beginning: to love others as ourselves. They provide us with a wonderful opportunity to shine the light of God, and by doing so, our desire is one step closer to His divine purpose, and we will shine brighter than we can imagine.
