Impassioned Quest for Conscious Parenting and Milton’s Secret
Our world is busy in search of truer ways to a meaningful life of happiness and success. And we are spending thousands of dollars, time and energy, trying to make it all happen. But, have you noticed that regardless of how much education we get, or longer hours we work? We never seem to reach that peaceful place of fulfillment? And have you noticed that another class, a higher-paying job, or a larger house, won’t do it either, until we, firstly, take notice to those who are under our care? Our children are the keys that’ll make it happen. This is best said and in truer words from Dr. Shefali, “Conscious parenting understands that parenting is really about raising the parental self more so than raising the child’s self.”
Have you ever researched success stories of parents who have reached these heights that we hope for? Some of our role models are right under our noses, and some of them are honourable public figures and philanthropist who run our nation. And what have they in common? They all hold the primary responsibility of children first. They temporarily put aside their passions for the child’s best welfare. They then went on to their desires with a clear heart. And there is no success in the world that is greater, whatever the way our children may turn.
I’ve seen the difficulties when these suggestions weren’t understood in perspective. I almost fell into the trap from well-meaning people who suggested that I might first think of my happiness. There was a time before I became a mother when this advice sounds true. However, once we become a parent this no longer applies to us alone. We have the responsibility of being God-like to the precious other.
I’m so enthusiastic with conscious parenting since it saved my family. I prayed for others to bring this mindfulness to the world and Eckhart Tolle’s Milton’s Secret, has opened a full-sized screen for all of us. It’s been my impassioned quest and purpose to my life. Therefore, I am hopefully devoted to seeing this amazing film happen.
