I do not believe it is possible for the Old Testament God to exist, as "He" is a psychologically damaged deity whose insane system cannot stand. This all-too-human God would have driven Himself crazy long before now, thus completely destroying all there is, including Himself.
I believe there is a Reality that we think we can't understand, yet we are part of It. We use many words to describe It: God, Jehovah, Allah, Great White Spirit, Goddess, All That Is...This Reality is perfect Love without opposite. It is incapable of creating creatures that in turn become something other than What It intended them to be. (Caps are intentional).
We are one unlimited Self. We had a mad thought in our creation, thinking we were apart from our perfectly loving Creator. The world we think we see is the result of that mad thought of fear. But in actuality, we never left our Creator, nor could we. We remain just as created. This dream of separation is not "His" Will, and so it is not real. We are not "here". There is no "here" here. We are God's Son. "God wills you be in Heaven, and nothing can keep you from it." --A Course In Miracles.
