But I wonder what impact that had on young "Barry". Not the objects, but the act of simple giving. As brilliant as he is, I wonder how he might have been moved, inspired. And it may be that consciously, he really was not so impressed, and maybe put the pieces in a drawer, but later, as a man, how much did the small thing inspire great attitudes of givingness, of shedding his own light...who knows what our small things may do, where they might go, and whom those touched might become?
