Carolyn B.'s Biography

I grew up in a housing project in the Bronx, with my Mom and Dad and brothers and sisters. Like television's Brady Bunch, we were six children; 3 boys and 3 girls. These were the halcyon days, pre-Mayor Lindsay, and the projects were safe and filled with working- class families, like us. But come the early '70s, the neighborhood "changed," and we stayed. High school and college followed (Baruch College, C.U.N.Y. '85), and, of course, work.

I've been an upstater now since '96. Married and with  a son, now in the sixth grade. I blog and write, travel and work. I am a law enforcement officer in NYC. I have worked in the courts since 1993.
