Carla Zilbersmith was a solo performer, director and singer until being diagnosed with ALS better known as Lou Gehrig's Disease. Since her illness she has stopped writing pieces to perform and has focused her attention on song writing and on writing the blog www.carlamuses.blogspot.com. Carla has performed internationally and was heralded by many in the media for her singing and comedic skills. She is currently in hospice expected to die within 6 months or less.
Carla is the creative mind behind the ALS Calendar (Always Looking Sexy) a cheesecake calendar featuring people afflicted with ALS.
