Thinking it would be easier for him than for me, I asked my very obliging publisher to put my book up on Kindle, and though he always insisted he’d done it, it was never there when I looked. Since this was at a time when Amazon.com was being difficult about self-published books not printed by the company they had just purchased, I assumed something nefarious was going on and decided to put the whole thing out of my head until I had time to deal with the problem. One month led to another, and another. I was distracted first by one thing and then by something else. Time passed, lots of time, until last week when I finally thought to have another look. I never expected to find it, but there it was, The River, By Moonlight, on Kindle. How long it’s been there, I have no idea, but I was very pleased and immediately bought a copy. Now all I have to do is figure out how to make sure that others find it and do the same. If anyone has any suggestions, I’d appreciate hearing them.
