National Poetry Month is approaching (April).  Do you already have plans?

Here go some simple ideas for celebrating and making the most of National Poetry Month:

• Promote your published books and poems via links on social networks
• Offer to read your poetry or classic poems at a school or library, even a convalescent home or VA hospital
• Share poems with friends and family via post cards or note cards
• Post an ad in the local newspaper's Book Review or Arts section or write an op-ed letter regarding the preservation of the arts and literacy, especially poetry
