House Hunting is slightly a misnomer. Only in the worst possible neighborhoods would a gun be appropriate and no real stealth is needed to approach the unwary prey. I suppose the occasional house is mobile but the kind of house I want should only move if Dorthy's twister swings by. So this house hunting process has been a real eye opener. The SF bay area is not for the faint of heart or one without stable employment, references, and a great income to debt ratio. The prices out here always prompt my Midwestern parents to gasp. We saw three houses today the first house was quite cute a bungalow with a little studio in the back yard but it needs alot of work, the second house was move in ready but more expensive, the third was the most expensive and not really appealing. I think we will keep searching it was definitely educational.
