I just noticed that even some of Faux News has turned on John McCain over his election committee's latest foray into mud chucking. I got this evil evil idea.
Just suppose the "illuminati" (which of course don't exist) decided that John was not the right candidate and they want a quick substitution. What if (heaven forbid) he dies before the election?
A lot of amazing things could happen for the new nominee. I won't bother to list them all, but the sympathy votes alone could be overwhelming.
If they picked the right person they could actually win. I don't think John McCain can win because he's allowed his sponsors to change his attitude. He went from bronko to gelding in a matter of days. Everything I liked about him has been removed so he can appeal to the far right. Sad really. A balanced president is exactly what we need.
So if the hypothetical illuminati were really evil (as they would have to be if they actually existed) they could try to undermine John just to see if they can wear him down to the point of a heart attack or stroke. Or even worse, they could slip him a special cocktail.
Now you can see why I write fiction. If I didn't, I'd be really dangerous.
