Pickles Celebrates 20 Years of Laughs

If it not for Brian Crane’s wife, there may not have been a 20th anniversary of the comic strip “Pickles” to celebrate April 2.
Fortunately, the Twin Falls native and former Idaho Falls resident listened to his wife.
“If it wasn’t for my wife I don’t know what I would be doing now,” Crane said in a phone interview from his home in Reno, Nev.
As a child, Crane, 61, was always drawing up comics.
“Whenever I had a blank piece of paper, or a corner of a worksheet in school, I was drawing faces and animals,” said Crane.
