AUTHORBIOGRAPHY In 1994, Brenda Farrar-Ejemai wrote her first piece of literature, a poem, entitled: ‘Experience’. Two years later, in 1996, her children’s book: Roast Beef and Gravy and Black Tongue was written. In 1998, both Poetry From The Heart and a motivational series (including The Goal, Worry, and Fear) were published. The documentary/book: The Family In The Car, A Revelation, (written in 2004) is her fourth book. Ms. Farrar-Ejemai is an author, educator, conference speaker, and business woman. She is a contributing editor for BrooWaha Newspaper, located in New York, Los Angeles, London and Paris. She writes motivational articles on various blogs. She is also a board member and the Training Director of the United Black Writers Association. She was born and raised in New York City. There she attended elementary, junior/high school, and college. After attending the City University of New York, she graduated Magna Cum Laude, with degrees in education/sociology. Favor Blooms, LLC was started in 1994 by Brenda Farrar-Ejemai, and was birthed out of the need to produce work that was not only significant, but timely.
