It's more fun seeing human faces and interacting with them than teaching online.
That's why I have elected to teach Comedic Screenwriting for the first time at the Writer's Store in Burbank on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 2-3:30.
We'll explore some principles from the book I wrote, What Are You Laughing At?: How to Write Funny Screenplays, Stories and More. It was generated by my Humor Writing class at UCLA Extension.
Also, I love giving students a safe environment to write flash assignments, and have a few of those up my sleeve.
It's fun, it's useful, it's short and if you don't mind my saying so, it's dirt cheep.
