New York City native Bob Natiello enjoyed a long career as a Madison Avenue ad executive. In addition to planning dozens of DuPont TV specials, he created national marketing campaigns for America’s corporate leaders, heading the ad agency team that won the coveted EFFIE award for effective marketing of General Electric appliances.
He spends his Arizona retirement raising money for charitable causes and writing award winning fiction. His current collection of 22 short stories and memoirs is available under the title, The Almost Perfect Crime and Other Award Winning Stories of New York. Four of the pieces were 2011 national Pushcart Prize nominees. Another earned First Prize in Manhattan Media’s 2009 fiction contest. It appeared in New York Press, West Side Spirit and Our Town.
He originated and produced the first weekly real estate television series--Home Buying Made Easy--on a major NYC television channel.
He also originated and produced New York’s first mutual fund weekly radio series--All About Mutual Funds.
His song lyrics have been heard nationwide on a gold single and a gold album (Polydor label), and on TV and radio commercials. His fiction writing earned him three successive invitations to Sirenland Writers Conferences in Positano, Italy.
He holds a BA degree from Villanova University and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He served as a U.S. Marine Corps first lieutenant.
His spouse of more than 50 years, Peggy Natiello, is a person-centered psychotherapist and author of The Person Centered Approach, A Passionate Presence. They’re parents of five children and 12 grandchildren. #####
