This Sunday is the first annual Ashkenaz Holiday Crafts Bazaar. The emphasis is on local, sustainable crafts, food, and music. It's also part of the holiday "Buy Local" week in the Bay Area.
I'll be playing with Sauce Piquante from 1 to 1:40. I've also donated a signed galley of Accordion Dreams for Ashkenaz to sell as part of their fundraising.
The local author table never quite materialized, but there will be a few local authors selling their books, I hear.
As for me....
Accordion Dreams would be a great Christmas present--except it won't be out till January. But I'll have ordering information available. It can be pre-ordered from the publisher--or your local independent bookseller. (And online, of course, but since I'm proud to be an associate member of the Northern CA Independent Booksellers Association, I like to look to them first!)
In honor of "buy local" week, if anyone preorders at Ashkenaz or through a local independent bookseller (and sends me documentation!) I'll send give you a free Sauce Piquante CD and a lovely Accordion Dreams postcard. I'll even write a holiday message!
