But...

Last night I worked on my story. I wrote for about an hour. I know that’s not much, but that’s all I had to give. I wrote almost 800 words. I’m thinking ahead to November, to NaNoWriMo (http://www.nanowrimo.org). I’ll be back at work then. What will I sacrifice to write everyday? To write an average of 1700 words everyday? I all ready get extremely worn out with my work schedule. November is not the best month to do this. BUT!!! The wonderful “but”....Usually “but” is an excuse, but today it’s a motivator. I will find time! I know I can do this. I have the story simmering inside all ready. That’s going to be the hard part; waiting until November to “plate” the story. It’s a good thing I have another story I’m slowing plating at the moment. Let the other story continue to simmer. Let the flavors, the characters, the plot meld, blend and become rich before plating it. November will be here soon enough.
