Bev Sninchak's Biography

Bev Sninchak (writing as Bev Walton-Porter and Star Ferris) is a professional writer/author who has published hundreds of stories on a wide variety of subjects. She's also written six books: Sun Signs for Writers, Mending Fences, Hidden Fire, Secrets of the Professional Freelancer, Shadows of the Soul and The Complete Writer: A Guide to Tapping Your Full Potential, co-authored with three other writers.

Bev also works as an edit manager, contract editor, writing instructor and creativity coach. She has edited and published the award-winning e-zine for writers, Scribe & Quill, for the past 14 years. She is a member of The Authors Guild, Romance Writers of America, Pikes Peak Writers and Association Transcommunication (ATransC). Her nonfiction is represented by the Meredith Bernstein Literary Agency in NYC. Her fiction is represented by MPL Creative Services of Springfield, MO.

When she's not writing or editing, she is the Founder & Team Lead for Colorado Springs Paranormal Association (C.S.P.A.) Bev also hosts two online radio shows: Elemental Musings for writers and creatives, and Inside Paranormal Colorado Springs, which focuses on the paranormal and unexplained phenomena.

In addition, Bev enjoys spending time with her husband, Paul T. Sninchak, and two children, Jonathan and Brittany. Her hobbies include reading, World of Warcraft, online gaming, movies, music and reading, World of Warcraft, online gaming, movies, music & social networking social networking.
