A Premature Climax on Day 18?
Blog Post by Beth Snowberger - Nov.17.2008 - 11:59 pm
I've just hit 36,000 words and the big showdown is here. The evil servants have been offed, the main players are all in place (well, two are still en route, but they're supposed to be late), and the blades are about to start aflying. But is it too early? Shouldn't the climax be a bit later yet? And do I have it in me to write a major battle scene that won't be a huge bore?
It's my first time out, so I have no idea at all, but I guess the answers will be apparent in less than two weeks.
