A Book and a Chat with Chris Redding

When Chris Redding was ten years old she wrote a short story for a school assignment about an old lady who kept cats for which she not only received an “A” but also read to her class mates. As she read the story to the silent class, the previously geeky, four-eyed know it all realized that via this story she suddenly had the respect of her class mates, and that being a writer was going to be her way forward.

While she studied journalism and actually got a job on a newspaper her actual creative flame, like so many others was dimmed by life and every day requirements. It was not until years later that she finally started along the author path.

Chris’s first book “The Drinking Game” while not an overnight success schooled her through the work of writing and producing a novel, this was followed by “Corpse Whisperer” a paranormal “who done it” that has you guessing from the first page. The book received several good reviews some mentioning the humor, which mixed with her snappy and sometime humorous dialog. The humor was for front in her next offering “A View to a Kilt”.

One reviewer wrote about "A View to a Kilt”….

Chris Redding writes a murder mystery filled with twists and turns designed to keep you on the edge of your seat, regardless of whether you're wearing a kilt or not. Political interference, a fiesty and funny heroine and cops with their own agendas all make this story a fast and fun ride. I enjoyed the book and will not hesitate to read this author again.

Now Chris has returned to the murder mystery style with her latest two books, “Incendiary” and he latest novel “Blonde Demolition”.

About “Blond Demolition”: (Taken from Amazon)
