"Rocks" is a short, experimental film by composer Stephen L. Syverud

Stephen L. Syverud received his Ph.D from the University of Iowa, and MA/BA from San Francisco State University. In addition to teaching music composition at Northwestern University, he established and was the Director of their Electronic Music Studios. Prior to joining Northwestern's music faculty, he taught at Grinnell College, Jackson State University, and University of Wisconsin (Parkside). In 2001 he served as a visiting professor at the Franz Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary, as recipient of a J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board grant. His short films and compositions for both electronics and acoustic instruments have been performed throughout the United States and Europe. Read more about him and his music on his web site.
