This summer was a long journey for me because I was involved in making plans about writing my first non-fiction book about China, and I was also doing my graduation exams. I am very glad that I passed and now, I am looking forward to start contributing to society, by looking for a job and offer my skills to a company, where I am going to be hired.
Summer was also a moment, which I enjoyed and I was watching the World Cup, which took place in South Africa earlier this year. I was very disappointed that France lost to South Africa and they failed to win a single game in the World Cup. The thing that aggravated me was the way the French national team behaved in the tournament and they have been a disgrace to France. They behaved like small kids and that's not how you set an example to the next generation of kids who want to be soccer players some day. But the World Cup went on, without France of course and I was watching teams like Holland, Spain, Uruguay, Germany, Argentina, Brazil and other teams playing their games. I enjoyed the World Cup and to me, it was fun. I continued to watch the final between Holland and Spain and I believe the right team won the World Cup.
And then I was watching the news about the incidents that occurred in Uganda, when terrorists killed innocent people who where just enjoying the World Cup final and I was really annoyed by that. It makes me angry that religious fundamentalists want the whole world to wallow in self-pity with them. They are only interested in making pity parties and that makes me sick.
I spent time living in one of my friend's flats because the agents from the place, where I am still living in were taking care of the place and they were painting. I discussed with one of my friends about my disagreements on legalizing drugs, but he meant that legalizing drugs is a good idea because people can make their own decisions and we are adults. I kept on telling him that legalizing drugs is wrong because we are sending a wrong message to society, if we do so. No employer wants to hire someone who takes drugs though. We kept on talking about different themes and he is really fun to be with.
I was also busy making videos on Youtube and at the same time, I was reading different books. A couple of days before September, it was my birthday and I used the moment to think about things, which I really would like to improve in my life. Today, I'm glad to be back on Redroom and tell my story and I hope to hear from you.
