It’s been a while, since I’ve been on Redroom.com. I’m not available these days because I am in Asia working as w web designer. The experience has been great so far and I love it. I left Denmark early in the morning and now, I’m in Shanghai and I am really enjoying myself here. When it comes to being on Redroom.com, I was asking myself questions on whether it was allowed here in China or not. But China is a good country with so much to offer to the world and its economy is booming. When I came here in China, I was surprised and sometimes I was also happy. But there were times, where I really got frustrated because I was asking myself why is Asia developing so fast and why is Africa still backward. As an African person, it makes me sick that we were our time blaming our former colonial powers for our current failures. We are too lazy and we don’t want to do much. The number one killer in Africa is procrastination and the other killer in Africa is corruption. The question, which I ask myself, is when are going to do what Asia does today? I wander if we really have a will to change our way of thinking and our mentality. Our continent is the world’s poorest continent and I don’t care if we have natural resources because most of the people do not profit from them. But besides that, I like it here in China and I’m looking forward to write more blogs here on Redroom.com.

glad to hear it
I am in China also. I agree that it is truly an amazing country.
As for your main question about when are African governments going to stop blaming the former colonial powers, I don't think it will happen. And the next generation will learn to not accept responsibility it the same manner. But don't worry America still has everyone beat in the "Blaming other people for our problems" category. Well at least America is good at something.
. It is amazing how much two different areas of the world, The Americas and Africa, both have so very much to learn from Asia. I have been lucky enough to learn in first hand and I hope I can get my American friends to listen....of course...they won't...
Thank you, Joshua
Yeah, the problem with Africa is procrastination and that's something which is keeping us behind. The only advanced countries in Africa are: South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Kenya, Botswana and Namibia. The other countries that are progressing are Mauritius and Seychelles. As far as the Americas, I would disagree that they can learn from Asia because the standards of living are higher in countries like Chile, Argentina and Brazil, compare to India and Laos. But they are still lots of areas, where they can learn from other Asian countries like Japan, Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, when it comes to fighting corruption. Thanks for your views.
