Thanksgiving has come and gone. This lonely corner of the internet is prepping for the holidays. My Pandora station blares "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch," and I've gone and bought some books. I'd like to tell you they're for Christmas presents, I really would, but they're for me and that's the truth of it.
They came in the mail today in their coy little brown envelopes. I opened them in a joyous frenzy, brown paper flying everywhere. I hadn't read a non-cookbook since Halloween.
Sadly, they're not books by new authors that I can introduce you to, but rather books connected to authors I have already mentioned.
So without further ado I will be reading "The Best of Lady Churchill's Rosebud Wristlet" edited by Kelly Link & Gavin J. Grant (The Small Beer Press Folks) and "Fugue State" by Brian Evenson. I hope to have a nice tea pairing for you when I finish with them. Also, I haven't forgotten the afore-promised blog tour; it's only that it seems to be taking longer than I'd like.
P.S. I'm on twitter now at if you can't get enough book talk.
Wishing you all the very best,
