Asha Vose’s fiction has appeared in Harpur Palate, Quiddity, and on NPR in Illinois WUIS 91.9/WIPA89.3. Her non-fiction has appeared in Knoxville Voice, Metro Pulse, and Eva Mag. She studied under Yiyun Li at the Tin House Summer Writers Workshop 2008. She is the 2008 co-winner of the New Millenium Writing Award for "Vietnam Visits Uncle Bill." Asha is currently at work on a collection of short stories titled "The Miracle of Electricity" featuring drugs that make you feel like a cloud, shoplifting and falling in love, loneliness, the miracle of electricity, secret keeping, post-modernist satire, ark-hunting, and magical realism flavored hi-jinks.
